Battle Cry

Another dragon scene, this time in color. I changed the composition about a million times, changed lighting, the main beast, everything.. I don't care much about rendering and that is why I spend most of the time in figuring the composition and light. Any thoughts, guys? Cheers, Kan

The fire looks a bit like spilt orange juice haha, but I really like the concept! I'm just wondering, what is the bright white light (no rhyme intended) that hits the dragon from the left?

Loving the split between the dark dragon and washed out city-I really dig the secondary light source hitting it from the side too-makes it pop.

Your work Is awesome, man.

I really dig the dragon...he does indeed pop from the background. The mood is spectacular too. You could leave it as is...but maybe a slight bit more contrast in the mg city could push the depth even more? (if you were looking for advice)

I love the girl on the bed with the mech suit from below, too. Wondrous stuff.

David: yeah, it does look like a split orange juice unfortunately. I tried to make it look like a liquid instead of gas based fire.

Julien: Thanks for dropping by, J!

Dave: Cheers Dave, that light is coming from a misterious source... My lack of knowledge:)

Chad: You were so right about that, Chad. Thank you very much, I've updated the image, hope it looks better now.
